Samhain has now departed and All Saint’s Day is here………… In the past our ancestors would have celebrated with bonfires and feasting…………If the beliefs of some archaeologists are true, a great procession would have been wending its way along the river Avon and ending at Stonehenge………… This was the time to prepare for the dark and cold of winter………Livestock would be slaughtered and preserved……….We don’t have to do that these days……..The supermarket always has food.

Along with the winter preparations, stories would be told, handed faithfully down the generations…………. England has always had an oral tradition of storytellers. Maybe we keep this tradition alive by creating stories?? Only instead of telling them around a campfire, we tell them around the world?? Just a thought??
